Josh Sunquist was born on August 6 1984 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is currently 37 years old. He was raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia with his 4 other siblings. Josh is an American comedian, author, and paralympic ski racer.

Sundquist lost one of his legs at the tender age of nine due to Ewing’s sarcoma disease. In January 2010, Josh Sunquist released his memoir, Just Don’t Fall: How I Grew Up, Conquered Illness, and Made it Down the Mountain.

Josh Sundquist trained and competed for six years, and in 2006 he was named to the United States Paralympic Ski Team. In Turin, Italy that March, Sundquist raced in two alpine skiing events: slalom and giant slalom.

He did not win a medal but received the honor and appreciation along with the reputation of participating in these games from his peers. Before ski racing, Josh had battled and beat cancer for almost 6 years.

Sundquist’s comedy show We Should Hang Out Sometime at Group Theatre in Santa Monica and Santa Monica Playhouse were both based on his memoir which was a one-man comedy show. The show got him really popular as a comedian.

Josh Sunquist has been a motivational speaker since 16 years of age. He has very well-reputed companies that he speaks for like Facebook, Walmart, The White House, etc. He has also written articles for The Washington Post, Guideposts Magazine, etc.
